Use these tips to set your move day up for success

When it comes to moving into a new place, staying organized and having a plan for how to attack your move will help alleviate some of the stress that comes with the entire moving process.

To help you become organized and prepared for your upcoming move, we’ve put together a list of some of our best moving tips.

We’ve asked our own TWO MEN AND A TRUCK moving professionals to compile these tips based on what they encounter each day!

Here were some of their best moving tips and advice to get you ready for your upcoming move!

Ethan – Customer Service Representative – Livingston Shiawassee, Michigan

“I always recommend to customers to have their beds disassembled. It just speeds up the time of your move.”

Kaitlyn – Office Manager – Pensacola, Florida

“Be as prepared as you say you are when you call us to book your move. Be honest with us so that we can properly estimate.”

Devan – Move Manager – Dover, Delaware

“Be prepared! Just be prepared. It will make the job a whole lot easier for us, and it will keep the cost down for you.”

DaJuan – Driver – Lorain-Media, Ohio

“I would tell the customers to have their stuff ready when we come. It will save them some money on time, as well as make the job more efficient. Also – come with a positive attitude.”

Shawn – Operations Manager – Lorain-Medina, Ohio

“Have all of your loose items boxed up and packed away, and also make sure to label the boxes. Make sure to have a game plan for unpacking the boxes, too.”

Katie – Sales & Claims Manager – Lorain-Medina, Ohio

“Be thorough. It’s better to overestimate than underestimate when it comes to planning your move.”

Collin – Customer Service Representative – Asheville, North Carolina

“Plan ahead. There’s nothing that accounts for good planning. The more planned out you are for your move, the easier everything will go for everyone.”

Gabe – Team Lead – Kansas City, Missouri

“One moving hack I would give to a customer is to go ahead and disassemble everything before we get there. If we aren’t disassembling and assembling everything, it will save you a lot of time and a lot of money on your move.”

Anthony – Team Lead – Lincoln, Nebraska

“With your packed boxes, take them all into the garage. It’s going to save a lot of time for us with the move and will also save you some money on your bill at the end of the move.”
